It's World Cardmaking Day! Want Some CANDY?

....stamp candy, that is! What a wonderful day! SO many fun activities going on today for cardmakers and stampers alike! Thanks for taking a moment to stop by and visit me.

I am so lucky to have the opportunity to offer you a chance to win this delightful (and BIG! ..it's 2x3"!) Mocha Latte stamp (#3) from Unity Stamp Co. today! All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post telling me what's your most favorite theme of card to make. You have until 11:30 pm tonight, October 4th to enter. A random winner will be chosen and announced here on my blog on Sunday morning.

And perhaps you might like to get involved with helping get some of your amazing handmade cards out to our troops and their families?! YES, you say?! AWEsome! Unity Stamp Co. is starting a Cards For Troops card drive. One of the Unity design team members is stationed in Okinowa and her husband is serving in Iraq. She explained to us just how much our soldiers need cards to send home to thier families and friends. That's right, these cards will go directly to our men and women serving in the military for them to send to their loved ones! Cool, huh!! If you would like to know more, you can find all the details HERE. I know I will be making as many as possible for this wonderful cause! Here is my first one...btw, they do not need to all be Christmas...our troops are in need of miss you, thinking of you, happy birthday, love you, Valentetine's Day, etc.....just anything you can think of!

    My favorite cards are everyday cards, instead of specific celebrations. Your card is amazing! Now that I've received my KOTM I may case that a bit.

    I tend to make "general" type cards so I can you them for a lot of different occasions. I am a teacher so it's nice to have a card I can just grab and use on a moments notice.

    Oh, poo! I dont have a favorite theme. I just make whatever! I know- that's kind of bad.....how about Thinking of You cards? Most of my cards can be used for different occasions. My LEAST favorite to make are masculine cards....does that count?? :)

So, I love elegant wedding cards, thinking of you cards, sympathy, etc. Oh, and I DO so love coffee cards! I am addicted to Coffee with Friends and Like it a Latte. The Unity set looks fabo!!     Love your gorgeous cards, especially the siply spectacular magical Christmas card!!! I love to make Christmas and winter themed cards because Christmas is my favourite holiday, and back home Christmas happens in wintertime when the snow blows and the skin freezes. :) TFS!!!
