Hip Hop Into Spring

With Unity's Hip Hop Thursday, of course! We are celebrating Spring this week and if you began the blog hop with Angela at the Unity Blog, then you've been hopping for a while now and will be thrilled to know that you made it to the END!!! I have the blog candy this week, whooo hooo!!! BE SURE to leave your comment on this post for your chance this weeks blog candy prize, which will be announced at 8pm CST Thursday night!!
So, we're kicking off Spring and you may have noticed a little theme going on with the design team as you rolled through the blogs. May Day Baskets are a lovely way to brighten someones day on May 1st. The tradition is to fill a small basket with treats or wild flowers and sort of door-bell-ditch your friends and neighbors, leaving the basket on their porch! How fun! My Mom said she grew up with this tradition and I think it's so very sweet. So I made up some gable boxes for May Day this year using Unity's February (for: enjoy word and whimsy flowers) and March 2009 (for: butterfly) Kits Of The Month.

Did ya see the fabulous new release today, Floral Friends?! It's super cute...and also, a last-minute surprise release today! Thanks for visiting me and dont forget to leave a comment for your chance to win Unity blog candy! I'll leave you with a pic of a couple of my best stamping buddies who I'm so thankful to have in my life. Katie and Simonne, hope ya don't mind, hehe! :)
Hugs and happy hip hop!

  46. Awesome Hip Hop and yes the 2 releases for today are super! I had been holding off on an order until I saw them today!! I did May day when I was a kid (even though we lived on a farm and no one left us any baskets, we would go to town and leave them for our friends.) I was happy that we lived in an area that celebrated the same way for a few years when my kids were little. Here in Missouri no one does it!
