Hip Hop Patriotic Style

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog! If you started hip hopping from The Unity Blog, then you know that we are celebrating hip hop with patriotism this week! Memorial Day is coming up and there are so many brave men and women, past and present, who deserve to be acknowledgd and honored. Unity has some wonderful patriotic stamps that help us do just that! I created this hero banner for a friend's brother who will be coming home from Iraq for a visit this weekend! I used the big Stars and Flag Journal and also the fireworks in the background is from Unity (but I'm not sure if it's still available, sorry). This is such a great stamp for a scrapbooking page too--obviously perfect for a journaling spot.

And a couple of little cards..............

I have a few personal heroes in my life.#1: My Mom- the most loving, caring and supportive person I've ever known.#2: My Grandmother- because she gave my my Mom and taught her everything good she knows.#3: My Sister- a strong, beautiful and wonderful Mother to my precious nephew and niece and the best sister a girl could ask for!
Next, hop over to the fabulous blog of ***CHRISTI***

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!!
