Hip Hop Celebrating Fathers!

It's Thursday once again and I'm back from my trip back home for my brother's graduation just in time! Here is a picture of him on graduation day. He graduated with high honors and was in the top 10th percentile of his class. He is totally awesome and we are so very proud of him and his accomplishments thus far in life.

My baby brother would not be the outstanding young man he is without our dad, and so it seems fitting that this week we are also celebrating all the wonderful Fathers in our lives! Be sure to start at The Unity Blog for all the great deals and Unity news this week and to begin the blog hop.
I have been so blessed to have had an amazing father throughout my life and even more blessed to have developed a very special bond and friendship with my dad as an adult. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of my Dad:
strong, honest, hardworking, intelligent, generous, funny, athletic, devoted, unconditionally loving, hero...just to name a few. I love him so much! So here's to Fathers, all they do and all they are!
I made a gift tag for my dad's gift, now I just need to think of a good present for him, lol. I used the {I heart U} sentiment from the Aug.08 KOM, Remember Happiness, the wonderful owl from this month's KOM, Perfect In Every Way, the baby owl from July 08 KOM, It's The Little Things and hoo luvs ya are from Owl Always Love You.

I also made a Father's Day card in honor of my Papa using Giggle Grove. Although he passed away in almost 7 years ago, I continue to think of him often, almost daily. He was such a huge part of my life and always a soft, secure place to fall. I adored him and he will be in my heart forever.
