My card is 6x6" squared and the scene takes up all but a 1/2" on each side. I tried out Michelle Zindorf's Brayered Sky technique for the first time. My sky's colors were SU! Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turqoise and Green Galore. Michelle offers a wonderful Tutorial on SCS, you should try it out sometime too, if you haven't already. I masked off my white cardstock with a piece of torn scrap paper to create the "mountains". After sponging in the grassy ground, there was a big white space between it and the base of the mountains. Although, I now think it looks more like a river. I used a light blue colored pencil to make the water and highlighted it with a brighter blue glitter pen for a wave effect and depth. I stamped the hiking image, colored it in, cut it out and popped it on pop dots. I hope you are enjoying the Gina K. Preview Party so far! I'm certainly having a super fun time playing with these awesome new stamps!

And while you're at it, look at this really cool way to line up word stamps (plus a funny sneak peek from Melanie Muechinger!- Can you guess?) Our own Emily Giovanni has come up with a great way to store stamp sets that are too big for CD tins. Isn't she a smart one!
