2nd Blogaversary Hop Day 2 Givaways and Freebies!

Good morning crafty friends! I am so excited to share this time with you! Today I am a part of the Cooking With Cricut Blog’s 2nd Anniversary and what a party it is with a two day hop and a week long celebration! We have some GREAT Blog Candy as well as some daily file and graphic give-aways! So be sure to join us EVERYDAY for the next 7 days! If you've joined me from  Xochitl's blog, then you are in the right place! If not, go to the Cooking With Cricut blog to see today's blog hop line-up list!

The traditional gifts or elements of a second anniversary are Glass, Crystal or Cloth. So the DT was challenged with making projects that contained these elements or elements that represent them.
I refurbished a framed glass mirror for my craft room....
My paper frame was cut from the Sentimentals Cartridge and white vinyl butterfly from Storybook Cartridge
I'm entering my Butterfly Mirror into the Craft Your Days Away Challenge #45 "All Creatures Big and Small"
For my cloth project, I made a miniature Americana banner. I cut USA letters from the Storybook Cartridge with blue fabric using heat and bond. Star tags were pre-cut and decorated with a few embellishements. I attached vintage jumbo eyelets with the Cropadile, then strung twisted hemp rope through each hole.
Linking both projects to: Sunday's Are Lovely Link Party 9
A couple close-ups
Be sure to stop by Cooking With Cricut for all of today freebies and comment on my blog for a chance to win one of the Cooking With Cricut 2nd Blogaversary giveaways! Your next stop on the Hop is KEMMA!

What a great way to decorate a mirror. Cute little banner, too. I have a friend that would love to get her hands on that for her home decor.
