My First DTBST With Sassy Studio Designs- "You've Been Framed!"

Hey y'all, happy Thursday! Whew, did this week fly by super fast or is it just me?! This is already a great day for me because I have the honor of guest designing with the marvelous "Dare To Be Sassy Thursday" design team for Sassy Studio Designs! I hope that I can measure up!

This week's DTBST challenge is titled YOU'VE BEEN FRAMED! Translation: make a card or project featuring a frame! So put your creative hat on and come and join in the fun. You don't need to use a SSD image to play along, but we love it when you do. Enter by next Wednesday night for your chance to win 2 SSD images of your choice.
I needed a graduation card for a super sweet girlfriend and Kutie Kim Roller Girl was just right! She's not a graduation image by design, but doesn't this speak of her versatility--I just designed this card in the graduates school colors and voila!--a graduation card with a roller skater girl = F U N! My Creative Time's More Gift Tag Sentiments had a perfect sentiment for my card, yay! The blue frame and 'clase of 2012' were cut from "Wild Card" cartridge.
Here's a TIP for anyone interested: I'm not the best colorer and SSD images have challenged me to stregthen my coloring skills. I have a somewhat limited amount of markers--36 Copics and 23 Prisma Color markers to be exact lol. I have high-quality colored pencils too, but I haven't mastered the skills of gamsol magic yet, so I don't go to them much--fear! So I recently decided to try to make the skin on my images more realistic looking and found that my real eyeshadow provided this look with ease! I just rub a tiny bit of peach"ish" colored shadow to the applicator that comes with the makeup to the cheeks, forehead and brushed over parts of the neck, arms, legs, etc. Imagine my utter surprise when it actually worked! It really makes a difference! I'm sure many others already have the talent to create such a look with their coloring tools, but this is a cheap and easy way to "fake it", so to speak--hehe!
And now, you've been framed! I sure hope you'll join in this week's challenge and show your fantastic FRAMED creations!
I'm also entering this card into:
The Poodles Parlour- Anything Goes Challenge!
Party Time Tuesdays Challenge #66- Use Two or More Ribbons!
Digi Doodle Shop's Best: Challenge #106- Anything Goes!

Linsey, your card is sooooo awesome! and I loved your tip! Great idea, may use that to do cheeks so they are softer than using my copis =) Glad to have you as part of our SSD Team =)
