Deserted Treasure Chest

Hello my friends! The weekend is upon us and I hope that yours is off to a wonderful start! I was going through some papers and when I came across a 2012 collection from Graphic 45 called On The Boardwalk, I got all nostalgic and began pining away for summer to arrive--and even though it's still March, there are definite signs of Spring here in the Great Northwest, which means summer is just around the block! So, I found an old wooden chest I got at Ross like 20 years ago---always found it a bit tacky, but couldn't throw it away, go figure lol. I decided my On The Boardwalk stash of papers, stickers and die cuts would be perfect to alter it and here's how it came out. I kinda like it, how bout you?
The turquoise wood beads used to be an anklet til it broke and of course I kept it for something crafty lol. The circle letters are an mini alphabet set from Nostalgics. Other elements I added were found on a scavenger hunt through my house, hehe!
My apologies--my camera is not functioning properly so my close-ups shots are not up to snuff, but....isn't this little turtle and the bottle so fun?!! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by to see my altered treasure chest! Have a fabulous day!!!
