Recycled Seed Packet Gift Card

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing this early summer card I made with recycled cardboard (and a bit of pretty paper)--it will double as a seed packet holder on the opposite side with 3 packets of fruit seeds--watermelon, cherry tomatoes and strawberries, yummy! I wanted to use up some of my ribbon scraps leftover from the May Ribbon Club Assortment. The Navy Burlap Center Stitch Ribbon goes really well with this assortment and I also added a mess of Metallic Gold String. Of course you can find all of them at the Really Reasonable Ribbon, your one stop ribbon shop!!
It was really fun to take this plastic red heart accent and give it my personal touch. I swiped a bit of soft pink paint across the front, then sponged some clear Versamark ink around the heart and heat embossed the covered areas with gold powder. I love it :)
More fun with paint! I added a bit more dimension and interest to these metal dragonflies with a few light swipes of vanilla. And I just adore this Crafty Secrets fabric image/sentiment combo from the Summer Homespun Cotton Scraps collection.
Thanks so much for visiting! Have a creative and blessed day my friends!
