Baby Dress Keepsake

Hi friends! Sorry it's been a while since my last post and since I've blog hopped. Just life. Yah. Anyway, here's my latest project, which I made for a very sweet friend of mine Kelli Jo, whose daughter just had her first baby, making my friend a brand new "Mimi"--aka, Grandma! The little baby girl is so sweet and beautiful! Her name is Isabella and this baby dress keepsake is just for her. :) It happens to be perfect timing for the Tombow Baby Challenge hosted by Latrice Murphy over at the Tombow blog, yay! I'm also entering it into the Country View Challenge Blog- March 2nd Blogaversary Challenge.

I enjoyed creating this sweet keepsake so much. Isn't the little antique hanger precious?! I've been hoarding it for several years and now that I finally used it, I want more and cannot find anything nearly as cute on the internet or elsewhere, haha. Isn't that the way the cookie crumbles! :) All the papers, chipboard and stickers are from Graphic 45's Baby to Bride collection. A most beautiful and versatile collection indeed--highly recommended!  Now, my Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue is by far my favorite and most used liquid glue. I use it on practically everything I make because it's inexpensive and super easy to work with--it has an superb permanent hold and it dries clear so even when I leave a smear or smudge (like I always do) it isn't a problem because it never shows! It's a big ol' thumbs up all the way!! I used it on this project on almost all of the embellishments in the pockets. I also used a layer of Faber-Castell Gel Medium over the top of all the patterned paper because this is a keepsake so I want to protect its integrity for a long time.
