Growing In Unity Day 4

Hello my lovely friends and happy Thursday to you! This week is just flying by for me and today I'm sharing my second to last project for my GIU week. This one shows a super simple and easy way to use Unity stamps in a different way than usual and I hope you like it!
Can you spot where I used Unity stamps in on this refurbished wood stand? If you guessed it was on the lower shelf, then you are correct! I created my own homemade designer "shelf liner" using the timeless Tea Time Toile background stamp. After painting the entire piece white, I simply took a large piece of white tissue paper and stamped the design repeatedly in black Ranger Archival ink. Then I adhered it securely with a layer of Mod Podge and let dry.
That's all! It's that easy and I love the results. For the design on top, I used a large stencil and chalky paint. I definitely think the unique toile works great with this French Paris theme.
And if you like it too, please leave a comment below! Thanks so very much for visiting me today! I hope to see you again tomorrow for my final GIU project! Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!

I have looked at that stamp several times, but could never quite think how I would really use it. I love what you have done and stamping on tissue paper to adhere to other things is a great idea.

Oh, my goodness! This is FABULOUS. It looks amazing. Was it hard to stamp on tissue at all? I can see it pulling up on me and I'd have a mess...but yours is perfect. That had to take some extreme patience. Gorgeous...no, better than that!!!
