Yapples Hugs and Dragon Kisses

Are you confuzzled?....allow me to clarify. Tonight, I celebrate 2 ladies whom I have gotten to know thru blogging over the past 6 months. Both have a ginormous amount of artistic talent (and equally ginormous hearts) and have coincidentally been accepted to the be Designers for 2 amazing companies! Here are my cards honoring these friends....
DONNA. Simply put, this is one special lady! Starving Artistamps knows it too--she is their newest Design Team Member! They know a rock star when they see one and they are brilliant to have picked up my diva Donna! Donna has been showcasing the most adorable cards on her blog using these stamps, which is why I recently made my first purchase with them...ummm, if Donna loves them, I love them, nuff said! Now, isn't Yapples a QT pie! The tree, grass and fence are also from Starving Artists. I created the cloudy sky by simply drawing/cutting out a cloud template, then sponging around it in layers with bright blue ink. Yapples just looks so huggable, I love this little guy! And there is some totally hilarious and cute new releases plus a blog candy over at the Starving Artistamps BLOG, so check it out for your chance to win! Thanks for all the inspiration, Donna! Congrats on your latest achievement! Cheers to YOU, my friend!
My second card was made using the inspiration from the current sketch challenge for Artful Inkables, another recently discovered stamp company that I have fallen in love with! And who is on the coveted Design Team?--none other than my great friend, JULIA ASTON! I put her last name because there seems to be so many talented Julia's out there, I want you to know just who I'm talking about :) Julia was one of the first people who encouraged me with sweet comments on my cards when I joined SplitCoast last July. I don't know about you, but for a good while, my SCS gallery was less than impressive. I had no idea how to stamp, I had only scrapbooked and my cards reflected that. Julia was one of the few people who left me love on my posts. She truly encouraged me to continue growing as a stamper thru her kind words and that is just one reason why I am lucky to call Julia my friend. She is awesome and I luv her, but that's not why I bought this Darling Dragons stamp set from Artful Inkables--no--I just totally adore them! How could you not?! There are even more adorable sentiments and accessories that have yet to be used in this whimsical set and I can't wait to play with it some more! You might wanna check them out Arftul Inkables too, ya'll---I'm just sayin', they rock! (just my personal opinion) *enabling grin*
Thank you so much for taking time from your day to visit me! It means so much!
P.S.- Remember to scroll down and leave your comment for your chance to win my blog candy!
