If you are already hopping with us and coming from seeing a wonderful project at An'Jenic Gibson's blog, then you are in the right place! If not, you'll want to begin at Madge's Scrappin Lounge because today we are celebrating Scrappin Madge's birthday with a very special "happy birthday" blog hop and I am just ticked pink to be a part of it! Madge is not only an awesome friend and ultra talented artist, she is also an outstanding small business owner and I happen to be a regular customer! I subscribe to Madge's monthly Embellishment Kits, which I love and adore. Everything on my project today is from one of the kits, which you will see, all seem to coordinate beautifully! Scrappin Madge is such a sweet and lovely lady and I hope she has her best and happiest birthday yet!!
In honor of Scrappin Madge's birthday, we thought it would be fun to give away some prizes, so be sure to leave a comment on each and every blog on the hop by next Wednesday, September 23th midnight for your chance to win something! I know there are at least 3 giveaways on the hop, maybe more...oh, and looky! I myself have a prize to give away--1 Peachy Keen Stamps July 2014 Stamp Set of the Month, shown below and valued at $24.99! Winner announced for this prize here on my blog on September 24th.
And finally, my project! An 8x8 memory album, card and cute frame for my cousin and her fiancé to document their lives together beginning in 2015. I still have to complete the photo and journaling pockets for the inside the album. Like I said, most everything on here and inside (minus the frame and album) is an element from one of my embellishment kits~
Here's a shot of the cover
Heidi Swapp epoxy word/number stickers, Jillibean Soup wood flags and silky twine, Crate Paper stickers by Maggie Holmes, and CTMH self-adhesive gems are just a few of the wildly popular products that you can expect to see inside Scrappin Madge's embellishment kits each month! I'm entering this album into the current PaperIssues challenge- Anything goes with Whiskers Graphics (I was inspired to use lots of stickers, twine and a wooden tag). Also, I was inspired by Jennie's Book Challenge over at the Tombow blog and used my Xtreme Adhesive tape runner on elements that I wanted to ensure would not move--ever. I also used my favorite liquid adhesive MONO Multi Liquid Glue on the inside.
Inside cover-this is a journaling tag from one of my kits and the other side of the colorful stripes on the front. I left the top open for a photo to easily slide inside.
Your next stop on the Happy Birthday Hop is the fabulous Jenny Johnson's blog! Thanks so much for visiting me! Enjoy the rest of the hop and have a great day!
