This Way to Wonderland

Hi friends! Today I made something that I must say I love! Alas, I cannot take credit for the design because I was 100% inspired by a most beautiful gift I received from a very talented friend over the holidays. Some of you may know Ginny Nemchak and her glorious blog Polly's Paper Studio. She designs for Graphic 45 and several other companies where she stuns and inspires with her beautiful paper creations! I adore her and am blessed to call her my friend. And after continuously drooling over this marvelous jumbo tag-card she sent me almost 2 months ago, I decided to try something similar myself because I am just SO in love with it!! C.A.S.E in point....
Isn't it absolutely wonderful!!! Like I said, I can't stop looking at it and why would I want to! So yummy. Now, I've had some Alice In Wonderland themed ideas swimming around in my head for a while and I thought this was the perfect time to bring them to fruition. I really did use Ginny's design entirely to inspire me although at some point this tag became my own. What a great gift it is to share your creativity and inspire others! Here's how mine turned out...
I've had my Wonderland Tea Creative Scraps from Crafty Secrets for quite some time and I was thrilled to be able to pair it up with a couple of my mini trinkets in silver that match the wonderland theme! These are the types of little treasures in my stash that rarely, if ever get used so it's really neat when I find a way incorporate them into a project!
I marvel at Ginny's ability to layer and create dimension. I tried to mimic her one-of-a-kind style by layering different patterns of paper, doilies and flowers. I also love how she did the buttons on the tag she sent me and I tried to make mine look similar to hers. I'm still working on perfecting her fabulous "poof" and "super poof" bows! ;)
I'm entering my tag card into the current Red Carpet Studio challenge #91-My Fair Lady translation: a girl project with lots of layers.
Well that's all for now. Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you a very curious, creative and blessed day!!!

Seems to me you should be on the ProvoCraft Team and design a Cricut Cartridge and we could all have your recipes to cut out and assemble.
