Really Reasonable Ribbon May Blog Hop!

Hi friends! Thanks so much for visiting today! If you're hopping with us for our super fabulous Really Reasonable Ribbon May Blog Hop and are arriving to me from CHERRY'S awesome blog, then you are in the right place! If not, why not pop over to the RRR Blog to start!
This month we are showcasing beautiful projects featuring the May Ribbon Club "Patriotic Assortment" and I hope that you'll love it as much a we do!
For my project, I made a patriotic ribbon wreath that will be perfect for upcoming holiday's like Memorial Day and the 4th of July!  I used ALL of the bright and beautiful ribbons in the Patriotic Assortment as well as some Cindy White Crochet Lace to fill in the base of my wreath and easily formed a big bow with Natural Burlap with Wired Edge Ribbon for the top.
Just cut strips to the desired length and tie to wire wreath form until filled in. For added interest and visual appeal, I added WOC White MagnoliasCottage Roses Mixed Blue Tones, Ivory and Royal Blue Open Roses and White Bead Berry Spray Clusters.
I also added a few stickers and a journaling card element from the new Simple Stories All American Simple Set and I think it goes so great with the May Ribbon Club Patriotic Assortment!
Buttons tied with Natural Burlap String were placed here and there and  I looped a string of crackle glass star-shaped lights (from Christmas) throughout the wreath too, which I think it really adds a lot to the overall charm and Americana feel of it!
And that's all for me! I hope you enjoyed my patriotic ribbon wreath and feel inspired by it in some way! Your next stop on the hop is SHEILA'S blog! Thanks so much for visiting and happy crafting!

I've always wanted to try to make a wreath & don't really decorate for the 4th so this might be a way to accomplish both!

An impressive project, to be sure! Love the addition of lights...makes this so dramatic! I don't know that I would have the patience to tie on so many pieces of ribbon, but I'm going to give it a try...on a smaller wreath form. Ha! Ha!

Wow, wow, wow! You win! This is just soooo beautiful. I love how full the wreath is, and I love the accent of the burlap bow. This is just full of vintage goodness and makes me want to stand up and sing God Bless America!
