Visible Image is our awesome sponsor this month! What a super fabulous company with so many creative supplies! I absolutely love this place!
And here is my mixed media art canvas created with some super cool Visible Image products!
I used this awesome Just Hit Play stamp set for my inspiration. I stamped the cassette tape and used it as the focal point. I added a mess of tape behind the cassette image and some painted chipboard for interest and a bit of dimension.
I stamped the sentiment in clear embossing ink onto a piece of scrap tissue paper, then heat embossed it in white. Then I carefully adhered it into place with some gel medium.
For the background, I first painted a rainbow of color with gelatos. To create my "silhouette" feature, I used the Fibres Stencil and black Stazon ink over the top. I splattered a bit of white paint over the canvas after that. Here's a close up....
And that's all for me! I hope you enjoyed my project and feel inspired to join in our November MMMC #42-Silhouette Challenge! You have all month to play along! Happy crafting!

Love it! Old school! :)
What a great technique to create that cool background Linsey - and your theme is wonderful with the stamps and loops of tape! These stamps are really awesome!
Absolutely love the background. I have fabric that looks like the pink/purple on the top and bottom trying to figure out what to do with it. Gelatos rock
