Hippy Socks!

Hi buddies! Just wanted to show you the super easy project I made today with Melanie Muenchinger's Just So Hippy flower. All this required was a pair of white socks, Palette ink in dark pink (this brand works well on fabrics and won't bleed) and fabric paint in neon pink by Duncan Crafts, which I got at JoAnn's and they have many colors. You need to wash the fabric first if you use the fabric paint, then let the project dry for 24 hours.
TIPS:
* Make sure to wipe any excess ink from around the image prior to stamping or you'll end up with ink on your fabric.
* Press down firmly directly on top of the image each time you stamp onto the fabric. This will give a crisp, clear result.

If you have the Just So Hippy set, you should be visiting Melanie's blog everyday for amazing inspiration--it seriously rocks!!! Thanks for visiting today! ~Hugs and Happy Stampin'~

Adorable little socks! Thanks for the tip on pre-washing the item prior to decorating it. I tried to do something similar for my nephew and after the many hours I spent on his tiny t-shirt I gave it to him and after one wash it was ruined. I'll try it again and pre-wash it this time around! Thanks for the inspiration and tip!

These are just adorable Linsey. I miss having a little girl to dress up. Apparently if it isn't black and ripped, it isn't cool in 9th grade! Anyway, run on over to my Blog, there is a surprise for YOU there!!!!

These are precious!!! I may have to try that for my little monkey! She's so bored of her plain white socks and I don't blame her! LOL!
