Hip Hop Thursday!

Hello! We are back again with Unity's hip hop Thursday and I can't wait for the fun to come this week! Angela, the gang and some of the Unity DT are still at CHA, so we are just gonna have to get this party started ourselves, people! (lol) If you didn't begin at ANGELA'S BLOG, make sur to visit her to see the endless bargains, deals and exciting news she has going on this week! If you are already doing the blog hop, then you are coming to me from the always amazing Maren, who undoubtedly has jaw-dropping creations for you to feast on! You will see lots of samples of the new releases today, so I'm changing it up with some not-so-new-but-just-as-loved Unity goodness :)

First, a card made with Jen Erickson's fabulously fun set called Middle School Madness. I absolutely adore this stamp! Isn't it just SOO reminiscent of elementary school days and all those innocent crushes, hehe! I just love it!

Also, a card created with August 2008's Kit Of The Month called Remember Happiness. I think this penny candy stamp is such fun and I like it even better sitting in this candy store window rather than in my pantry! :)

Hip Hop Thursday with Unity Stamps

Hello and happy Thursday! It's going to be another wonderful hip hop party today, with lots of special deals, prizes and giveaways and new release sets!!! Many of the design team are focusing on today's new releases and January Kit Of The Month, so I thought I would showcase some oldies, but definite goodies! First, a totally crazy, eclectic notebook created with the November 2008 Kit Of The Month called Enjoy Your Story...Laugh and Just My Type.

I also made a card using the September 2008 Kit Of The Month called Frendship.Love.Miracles. I went a little paper piece happy on this weeks hip hop projects, haha!

I'm throwing in this card I made earlier this week as well. I used the forever fantastic set, Love Is Toxic, one of my faves!

Clear Artistic Stamps Sneak Peek

We are just 2 days away from our January 20th Release Party for Clear Artistic Stamps and Belinda has designed the most beautiful set called Moments In Lace, which is going to be perfect for all of your wedding, anniversary, new years, graduation, shower and just about every other celebratory occasion you can think of!

And how about a fun little rumble to get ya all fired up for the release party this Tuesday?! We are hosting our first Cottage Rumble challenge over in the cottage studio! This first challenge is a challenge of threes! Make a card or project and count your 3's! Now you can do this purposefully and do everything in threes, or you can go ahead and make your card and then see afterwards how many things you did in threes! You'll be surprised how often this happens naturally without even thinking of it! :) The CAS design team has created a fabulous array of samples, so be sure to stop by for some inspiration! Jimmi's Friday Fun Challenge

...on Sunday! Just a wee bit late, but I did it!! :) My super cool pal, Jimmi created an awesome sketch for her friday fun challenge this week and I had to try it out. This is what I came up with and I can't get a decent pic of it to save my life, but ohhh well.

Hip Hop Thursday with Unity

Good Morning, friends! It's the best day of the week (in my humble opinion) again! It's hip hop Thursday with Unity Stamp Co. and there is so much to share! Visit Angela's Blog to start the blog hop and to see all the wonderful specials she has today. If you've already been hopping along, then you are coming to me from the endlessly talented Jennifer Buck--and may I say how mean it is to make me try and follow that action up--sheesh!! Here's what I came up with anyway....CUPCAKES!!! Since I can't eat real cupcakes *whimper*, I've decided to stamp them instead. These are the kind of cupcakes I really need--0 calories/0 fat/lotsa yummy fun! For the first card below, I used Ginormous Sweet Cupcakes and Fact Of Love. I added the I adore you rainbow and bliss from the December 2008 Kit of The Month, Little Reminders (which should be available again soon).

My second card also uses Ginormous Sweet Cupcakes and the brand new alphabet set called Just My Type, which is being released today along with 4 more sets, SWEET!!!

It's Saturday and I'm Just Chillin'

I hope you are able to do the same today :) Aren't these little Eskimo people just the cutest! I love their plump little faces and cozy attire. They are from Clear Dollar Stamps and appropriately titled Winter Eskimo (5757), set of 11.The first card is the Eskimo dude and his critter pal. This was such fun because I got to use my chunky disco glitter, yeah baby!

other supplies used: Copic Ciao markers #: B00, BG05, BG01, E47, E33 and C-1; Memento ink in tuxedo black, white craft SU!, Basic Grey Figgy Designer Paper, Darice white glitter paper, Cuttlebug and swiss dots embossing folder, teal grosgrain ribbon, small and large oval punches from SU!, hold punch, ticket corner punch, K and Co. adhesive rhinestones, white foam paint by DecoArt, teal snowflake brad, chunky disco glitter by craft essentials, pop dots.

The second card includes little Eskimo boy's girlfriend, isn't she sweet! Look at her sporting the Uggs that I didn't get for Christmas--what little show-off!

Hip Hop Into 2009 With Unity Stamps!

Finally it has arrived--our very first Unity Hip Hop Thursday of the new year! And oh yes, Angela and Christian are starting it off right. As always, Unity is always growing and changing and we have so much awesome stuff to share including a brand new Scrapbooking Team, some news design team members and of course, NEW RELEASES!!! I've been so inspired by our new scrapbooking team and one of my resolutions is to reinstate myself as a scrapbooker. Afterall, that is what I was when I joined SCS 18 months ago. At that time, I didn't even own 1 stamp set--in the words of the great Jen E.--shut up! it's true! I inked up one of the sets being released today called SHINE ON. It's such an adorable set that sure to be a bright spot in your stamping collection! This is an 8x8 page for the scrapbook I've decided to create for my awesome little brother, Tyson. He is 18 and a Senior in HS. Who knows, I might even have it completed by graduation, lol! Pretty basic page, I know--I'm rusty, ok!

My Favorite Things Release Party Tonight!

Yep, that's right! It's time to kick-off 2009 in style, baby!
