After The Rain

Hello and happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying the weekend so far! Today I made another mixed media project--an altered mini chalk board turned into a pretty Springtime art piece! I made it for the Tombow Challenge hosted by Jennie- April Showers. This challenge is new to me and different from most I'm used to. This one requires votes, yikes! On Monday, the voting will start and for 24 hours, you vote for your favorite from all the entries--so I hope you might be able to swing by the Tombow Blog and vote for your favorite (hopefully mine) hehe..on Monday! I will post a reminder on Monday and also on my Facebook too. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to vote and if you are inclined to make something for this challenge, there's still time! Just be sure to use some type of Tombow product if you do! Here is my interpretation of Jennie's April Showers challenge...
I used the last of my new Xtreme Permanent Adhesive on this project. I can't believe how often I've been using this stuff--it's the best! My lace and embellishments were adhered with it and none of these little trinkets are moving! This adhesive doesn't mess around! I also used my handy dandy MONO Removable Adhesive on the strips papers to keep them all in place as I layered on top of them before adhering them in place permanently with my MONO Permanent Adhesive. All adhesives used on this are Tombow products!
This scrumptious lace on here is the 3 Girl Jam "light and bright" hand-dyed lace, so I am submitting this also for the 3 Girl Jam April Challenge- "All Things Spring"
Entering this project for the:
Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge #206- Use Vellum! (3 pieces of vellum on main panel and vellum w/rub on floral design covering wood frame)
Altered Eclectics April Challenge (I altered this mini wooden frame chalkboard)

Now I have started another project with rain in mind. I hope to finish it this evening and I'll be sure to post it. Thanks so much for visiting me this weekend! Have a creative and blessed day!
