Hey, It's World Card Making Day!

Helloooo there! Yes, it's really me, lol. I am alive and well and very happy to be joining you for World Card Making Day 2015! I've been absent from my blog for quite some time, but not absent from life. I have chosen to dedicate much of my time to growing in the Lord my God each day. Actually, I've been growing in Him every moment of every hour of every day that I allow His will to encompass me and all that is in me. God has been working wonders in my life and writing on my heart, a new story. I know that everybody isn't going think this is appropriate, but it is my story and my truth and I am compelled to share it. I appreciate and love every single one of you, my crafty sisters and brothers. I hope that we may continue on our journey together through our common bond and love for creativity and art. And if you are so inclined, to grow in our love for God together. Thanks for allowing me to share what's on my heart and thanks for being my friend!

Now, on to my card in honor of this fantastic day which brings us all together, near and far, of all nations and lands--World Card Making Day! I made a pretty simple card for today and I used several Clearsnap® products since I just started my guest design team term with them, yay! I'm super excited and honored to be a part of this outstanding team of creative people and am looking forward to sharing some fun projects made with all the awesome Clearsnap® products that I received to play with! I even made my very first ever haul video showing all the cool stuff I got! Warning: it's very elementary and I was rather nervous since it was my first youtube video ever, lol. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? You can check out my haul video HERE! It's less than 5 minutes long, so as poorly done as it may be, at least it's short! ;)
So here's my card. I got to play with some of the new ColorBox® Pigment Ink by Teresa Collins. I sponged a bit of Glam Green over the embossed background to make it pop and I stamped this great Unity sentiment with ColorBox® Archival Dye Ink in Wicked Black. I added a tad of sparkle to the little flowers with Twinkle Dust by Donna Salazar in Pralines and Cream--yum! I also used this really cool gel adhesive called Glue Gloss, which I absolutely adore! It's especially great for adhering glitter, embossing powder, buttons, beads, etc. because it is clear and smooth. Just remember not to accidentally put it on your lips because it really does look just like lip gloss, lol! I also used a ColorBox® Creative Card for my cards foundation. It's the black horizontal stripes you see and it comes in a package of 5 preprinted standard sized cards with envelopes. It's a great way to make a batch of quick and beautiful cards with ease. Love that! Now you know that I couldn't resist decorating the white envelope too, hehe! I tried out my new Jumbo Rollagraph® using one of the many interchangeable Jumbo Design Wheels, this one being Leafy Border. I rolled the leafy border pattern on with ColorBox® Chalk Ink in Dark Brown. The final touch was a few mini pines cones on a branch that I found while walking in my neighborhood one day. Aren't they cute? :)

Thanks so much for visiting me and listening to me ramble on, like I tend to do, haha! I will be stopping by your blogs today to see all the awesomeness you've been creating! Wishing you a most happy and blessed day!!
