I designed 2 mixed media tags inspired by these autumn colors and tones (plus a few flowers, hehe). There is also a great new challenge going on now at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog that fits the bill.

I had fun creating my own background with stencils, modeling paste and colored sprays. In addition to a variety of
flowers, each tag has a metal keyhole distressed with layers of paint and ink. I also added some altered wooden leaves (one painted and stamped, the other painted, gold foiled and splattered with white), paper and fabric leaves, buttons with twine,
bead berry spray clusters and gold thread. I wanted to make them suitable for the season and found these two bible verses in my stamp stash a perfect fit. Finally, I added some elegant
ivory satin ribbon and
sherry diamond satin ribbon to the top of each tag all tied together with a little twine bow.

Another WOW for you!!! These are spectacular. So much old world charm. Love the delicate elements and a little brass. The backgrounds are amazing. Much love and skill went into these and they are totally gorgeous.
