And for my project, I chose to create something from challenge theme #27-Travel. I did a mixed media canvas with an underwater ocean scene that encourages the idea to "keep on swimming" through the currents of life.
Sometimes the waters can get rough, sometimes they are calm. Amidst it all, my prayer is that we enjoy the journey and explore fearlessly to discover our true selves. Always remember that God, in His perfect timing, calls each of His children out from the shore and into the ocean; where we stand not on ground, but on faith alone. His LOVE surrounds us in the eye of the storm.
A couple close-ups of my under the sea canvas--sprays, paints, stickles and glitter were used. I tried to create the illusion of moving water and sunlight coming through in areas. I also added shimmery accents and gold textures for more interest.
One of the sprays I used accidentally made the water droplet effect you see in some spots--which I love. No mistakes, only happy accidents, hehe!
