Really Reasonable Ribbon July Blog Hop!

Hello there and happy Friday! It's time for the RRR July Blog Hop and if you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
This month, we are showcasing projects using the fantastic July Ribbon Club Assortment! This is a gorgeous mix of blue and yellow with pops of floral, gingham, swirls and more! It's just perfect for all your summer creations and you could win it! Just comment on each of the blog's along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this summery and festive ribbon assortment.
I like to try to create a project that features as many of the ribbons from the assortment as possible. This time, a fun and new idea came to mind and I really enjoyed making it! Without further ado, I present my crafty girl with flowing ribbon skirt!
She was inspired by this beautiful July ribbon assortment along with the super adorbs Crafty Girl collection from Simple Stories. There is also lots of great pinspiration on Pinterest for this type of project! I used chipboard, die cuts and stickers to assemble my girls body and accessories.
I created the skirt by bunching together several long strips of ribbons varying in length at one end and adhering to the base of the heart die cut to create a waist. A few swirls in the ribbons were added for a bit more dimension and fullness to the skirt. Finally, the skirt was sprinkled with a yellow/blue sequin mix and 2 small Swarovski crystals were added because every crafty girl needs a little sparkle!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my project and feel inspired to create something pretty with ribbons today! Your next stop on the hop is SHEILA! Have a great day--happy hopping and happy crafting!

OMG, I am in love with this!! So gorgeous and beautiful and creative.
She reminds me of some hanging dolls I made years ago. Not because of the
ribbons as mine has a solid skirt w/apron & twig legs; just because she's
a unique hanging doll, I guess. I just love it and think I will have to
make one so my other two girls have another companion. lol
