I cut each ribbon long enough to wrap around a mason jar lid, tying each one in a knot to secure tightly. I did add a couple of different white lace trims as well, which don't come in this particular assortment, but shows how easy it is to add other ribbons and trims to this already fabulous assortment!

More Gingerbread House Cards!

Hey friends and happy Monday to you! I hope you had a marvelous weekend! I finished the rest of my special gingerbread house cards over the weekend, so I thought I'd go ahead and share them with you! They are so much fun to make because I can create one-of-a-kind houses--each and every one is unique and different and I love to use different ribbons and accents to decorate the houses too! So here are few that I have designed using all sorts of pretty things from RRR!
🎅
The first house showcases beautiful Emerald Checkerboard Satin Ribbon. The smaller bows have White Flat Back Pearls added to the centers of them.
The next house features gorgeous Double-faced Satin in Hot Pink. This ribbon is so luxurious, it doesn't need anything else to accompany it. That bow says it all, don't ya think? ;)
This third house might be my favorite, which is why I saved it for last It features 3/8" Crosshatch on Red Satin Ribbon. The centers of each bow has an 11mm Silver Glitter Stardust Heart Shaped Rhinestone and White Flat Back Pearls accent the centers of the lollipops and the red poinsettia flower.
So, which one is your favorite?
I hope you enjoyed this festive post today and I wish you happy holiday crafting!

The holidays will soon be upon us and this month, we're getting a head start on our Christmas projects using the festive October Ribbon Club Assortment! The ribbons in this assortment are whimsical and fun! I especially love the Reindeer on Emerald Green Grosgrain Ribbon and the Christmas Lights on White Satin Ribbon, both brand new and delightful as can be! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super sweet Christmas Assortment
For my project, I made some jumbo Christmas gift tags! These will be the perfect finishing touch for the specially wrapped presents I'll be giving this year! The ribbons really are the star of these tags and make them very festive! I hope everyone will love them as much as I do!
I first made bows with the wider, solid ribbons, then attached slighter smaller bows atop each using the 3/8" patterned ribbons. Next, I ran 2 strands of Natural Burlap String through a designer button, making  double-bow, then added to the centers of each ribbon bow. Finally, I hot glued a faux sprig behind each ribbon bow, then glued to the top of each of my handmade jumbo tags.
You can add "To: and From" sentiments to the tags or leave the blank. For an even more festive look, add stickers like I did. There are lots of great ways to get creative with handmade jumbo gift tags! I hope you like mine and maybe feel inspired to make a few of your own this holiday season! Ho! Ho! Ho! 🎅
And that's all for me!Thanks so much for stopping by! Your final stop on the hop is back to the REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON BLOG! Wishing you a very happy weekend and happy crafting!

I always like to try and use as many of the ribbons from the ribbon assortment as I can and this month I created a pretty ribbon mobile to hang in my craft room throughout the Springtime. I love how this mobile turned out! I hope you do to! Take a look...
I used a wide-rimmed Mason jar lid for the mobile base. Then, I simply hot glued alternating ribbon strips to the inside rim all the way around the lid.
I added a couple puffy double bows and a single smaller bow, then glued them to the top of the lid, along with several WOC 25mm Cottage Roses in Mixed White & Cream and a few Ivory Cherry Blossoms. Also, a few White Bead Berry Spray Clusters were added for a bit of sparkle.
These ribbons are so lovely and luscious! With mix of poppy red, blue charcoal, coral rose and crisp white, they will be perfect for all your upcoming Spring projects! Patterns like mini dots, chevron, butterflies and shell print will have you smiling from ear to ear! I'm super fond of this ribbon! How about you? 😊

And that's all for me! I hope you enjoyed seeing my ribbon mobile and feel inspired to make something with ribbons too! Thanks so much for stopping by! Your next stop on the hop is CHERRY'S BLOG! Wishing you a very happy day and happy crafting!

I think it turned out so pretty!

Really Reasonable Ribbon September Blog Hop!

Hello there, friends! It's time for the RRR September Blog Hop and if you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
This month, we are showcasing projects using the fantastic September Ribbon Club Assortment! This is a spooktacular mix of bright colors and festive patterns and it's just perfect for all your upcoming Halloween (and more) creations! Guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super fun ribbon assortment!
With Halloween right around the corner, I decided to make a super cute pinwheel wreath for my front door! I made one over the summer also and it was a hit, so I took the advice of a good friend and made another with a Halloween theme for our September blog hop!
I used a small wire wreath frame for this project so I needed approximately 24 4"x4" square pieces of patterned paper (double-sided is best) with a Halloween theme. To form mini pinwheel, fold square in half to make a triangle, unfold, then repeat on opposite side. Cut along folds to 1/2" from center. Fold every other corner to center and adhere with dot of glue. Punch 1/2" circles from scrap paper and adhere to center of pinwheels, then add a sequin to the center of each circle.
I used all of the ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment on my wreath. I cut 2 strips each of all the wider ribbons, then 4 strips each of all the narrow ribbons. Tie all into bows, then layer narrow ribbons on top of wider ribbons and add festive sticker to center of each double bow.
Arrange and adhere all bows to wreath.
So much cuteness and so much fun! 😍
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my project and feel inspired to create something pretty with ribbons today! Your next stop on the blog hop is SHEILA! Have a great day--happy hopping and happy crafting!

Summertime Bug Bungalow with RRR

Hey friends! How's you summer going? Mine is going....going by too fast!! I will savor and cherish every moment summer 2018 has to offer--in Seattle, we happily take all the sunshiny days we can get! I'm up on the RRR Blog today sharing my super fun summertime bug bungalow (hehe)--custom decorated and adorned with some of my current favorite ribbons from the Autumn themed August Ribbon Club Assortment! Come along with me and see what the buzz is all about! 😊
First, the bug catcher was covered with some fun patterned papers. Next, each side of the arch on the catcher was decorated with a double-layered bow using 5/8" Kiwi Taffeta Ribbon and Flowers on Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon from August Ribbon Assortment. I really love how these ribbons coordinate with the summery outdoor theme of my project. A pretty butterfly is attracted to the yummy ribbons too! She has fluttered her way to rest atop a pink button for a closer gaze at these lovely bows! I think she may stay awhile.
I layered the grosgrain bow on top of the wider green taffeta bow, then added a brightly colored button with Mays Arts Yellow Burlap String to the center of each bow. RRR carries Burlap String in 15 colors and I can tell you, I use it on lots of craft projects! It's just right for stringing through buttons of all kinds and so much more! The light, wispiness and natural texture of it is often the perfect final touch to add to my creations. On cards, scrapbook pages, tags, altered crafts like this one and of course lots more! I simply love it!
The inside of the catcher is filled with interesting finds from our bug hunt! Everything from  red and black ants to spiders and ladybugs--even a very hungry caterpillar who shall be getting his supper very soon. In my bug catcher-home, all are welcome, you may come and go as you please, bring new friends and everyone gets along and lives happily ever after! Hooray!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my project! Until next time, happy summer, happy bug hunting and happy crafting
