Mishmash Thursday :)

Hi, hope you're day is going great! I have a mix up of things to share today! First my card for Feb.Unity Stamp Co. monthly blog challenge- Hearts with NO Red or Pink! I personally have an abundance of heart images/paper and embellies that I don't use nearly enough throughout the year so this challenge was super inspiring for me! If you're not familiar with Unity, you should be! Angela M is the owner and an absolutely amazing lady who I happen to adore. She offers a prize valued at $45 worth of Unity goodness for 1 lucky winner so I hope you will grab your Unity or Ippity rubbah and play along HERE!

Earth Day is coming up on April 22, so I inked up an my Unity set called Eco Chic. I love this fun little set so much! The hearts and flourishes are cut from Give A Hoot cartridge, sentiment die from MCT "large fancy label die" and cuttled with stylized flowers and swiss dots folders for a bit of texture.

 I made another card just for fun because this sweet little cutie was available for FREE from Milk and Coffee Stamps blog! This company is new to me and I'm loving their images, so pretty and full of whismy! Plus since they offer some darling digi's for free, how could I not try them out! :) Thank you ladies at Milk and Coffee Stamps for your generosity and inspiration!

I'm getting a little better coloring hair! Not so much on the dress, maybe next time haha ;)

Join us Friday, March 9th and Saturday, March 10th for 2 fun-filled days of Spring craftiness with SCS! 15 fabulous Spring themed challenges sure to get your creative juices flowing! I have the privelege of hostessing the challenge on Saturday night at 10pm EST and I can't wait! I'm so super excited to share my challenge and to join in all the others for a weekend of Spring stamping and fun + lots of prizes of course!!! You can check out the details HERE and get started by preparing you VSN shopping/supplies list, which will get you organized and ready to stamp away when the challenges begin (although you will probably already have most supplies on hand). I love VSN for many reasons and one is the excitement of having only 45 minutes to complete each challenge--trust me, after participating in VSN you will have a sense of accomplishment, feel inspired and have a nice stack of Sping creations completed! Another Monday, Cowgirl Up!

Happy Monday pardner, hope your week is off to a great start! I made this fun card for a couple of challenges:
1- SplitcoastStampers Mini Virtual Stamp Night challenge HERE to make a card with "all the twists and turns of Spring" (open to play through today!)
2- Craft Your Days Away challenge #38 HERE "Gettin Stitchy With It!" (open to play til 2/16)
I combined the challenges making my lil rodeo cowgirl card, which at first glance doesn't remind one of Spring, but when I saw my stitched flourish rub-ons I immediately pulled out this stamp set from My Favorite Things "Ride Em Cowgirl" and thought, hey how bout a Spring Fair and the rodeo at the fairgrounds? Works for me!

I stamped the boots onto a scrap of faux leather, cuttled the skirt with "swiss dots" and a bit of hemp twine on her rope for an added twist :)
