Well maybe not officially, but it's certainly official over at SplitcoastStampers because tonight is the first 5 challenges for the Spring Has Sprung VSN (Virtual Stamp Night)! I joined in 2 of the challenges so far and intend to finish the rest for tonight, then I'll be all ready for Saturday's VSN--10 Spring challenges and a whole day full of Spring stamping inspiration and fun! Hope you will play along too! We have until Monday to submit our challenge creations for prizes! Itt's a breath of fresh, Spring air!
This is my card for Challenge #1- "Here Comes The Sun" translation: make something using the SUN as your inspiration!

Comforing Florals

Hello, hope you are having a great week so far! I took part in the color challenge over at SCS this week, Ruby Red-Soft Sky-Pumpkin Pie. I inked up the flowers from "Comfort & Peace" by Gina K. Designs in pumpkin, stamping off twice to create more depth. I cuttlebugged the white torn panel with a floral embossing folder and layered it behind the main image, wrapping the ribbon around each opposite corner. I turned the sentiment sideways to cover a *boo-boo*, I'm sneaky like that! I popped the main image up on pop dots too. That's it! I'm glad that I don't need this card for anyone at this time, but it's really nice to have a set that I know will always be appropriate for such a card. And can you believe this set is FREE when you buy just 3 Gina K. sets?! It's straight up awesome! Thanks for visiting and have a great evening! I'm going to eat my homemade Jambalaya now--then I'm going to see what you all have been up to! Hugs!
