My First Dress

Hey peeps, happy Friday! I'm so excited the weekend is finally here! Just in time for me to sport my new homemade sun dress, yay! I recently won a contest over at Fabric Traditions and this "style in an instant" fabric was the prize! Not only did I get enough fabric to make at least 2 dresses + easy breezy instructions, Fabric Traditions is such a marvelous company, they even threw in a whole bunch of awesome buttons just cuz' they're cool like that--sweet! :D

I adorned the bottom of my dress with delicate White Betsy Lace Trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It's so pretty in real life!

And I had to make a cute little angel charm necklace to go with my new sundress :)

I love it strapless, but I think I'm going to make a little detachable strap so I can easily transform it into a halter top for a slightly different look.
