A Many Thanks-giving Wreath!
Hello friends and happy Friday--I hope you have some fun stuff planned for this weekend! Today I made a card for my friend Jo's blog and the Fun-Day Friday Challenge--ANYTHING GOES! This is my first week joining in the fun and you should too! Click on the Fun-Day Friday Challenge to see all the beautiful inspiration and deets on how to play along and be in the running for a cool prize! I'm also adding this card to the 2 Creative Chicks Challenge Blog-Thanksgiving Week 3 challenge! My wreath was inspired by the SCS Ways To Use It challenge this week, Lovely Wreaths--use a wreath on your creation! I stamped this one with creamy caramel, kissed the outside around with close to cocoa and then wiped off the ink from the tiny bird and sponged it over with pumpkin pie (all Stampin' UP inks). I cuttled the top portion of the white base with my Thankful embossing folder then used two scraps of Autumn themed dp for the 2 strips, sponged around all with close to cocoa and stuck the entire card onto a slightly larger piece of sky blue solid cardstock. Added a bit o'diamond stickles to some of the leaves on the wreath and on a few parts of the embossed background. I cut the 2 leafy thingies at the bottom with Storybook cartridge and my trusty Cricut. Sentiment and mini tag dies are from My Creative Time, which I tied around the little ivory flower button and done! I think I like how this one turned out :) Hope you do too and thanks so much for stopping by! xoxo
