Cocoa & Friends...

...They are the same--they both warm your heart! :) I adore this new Sweet 'n Sassy set by Korin Sutherland called Warm Up. It is SO fun and has all these darling sentiments to match. For Judy's LCS on SCS yesterday, the theme was to make something that involved chocolate--ok, totally not hard. I added the whipped topping to my hot cocoas using white foam paint sprinkled with real cinnamon for more fun! It's easy and it makes your card smell yummy! Who isn't in love with Basic Grey's new holiday line of paper called Wassail?!?! Isn't it the most gorgeous! I'm addicted to it for sure!

I was absolutely dying to ink up my new "Do Not Open Till Dec. 25" label stamp from Unity, so last night I did and created this little gift card holder. Again, Wassail dp and buttons were used and some wide red taffeta ribbon, along with this wood tree which I dotted with diamond stickles and let dry.

Well, that's all for now. I really appreciate you visiting me--it truly makes my day! I hope to get out and about to see what all you creative peeps have been up to today! Happy Weekend!

Clear Dollar Stamps- Sneak Peeks Day1

Good afternoon! As promised earlier, here are a couple sneaky peeks to get you excited for the brand new Clear Dollar Stamps releases coming out this Saturday, November 1st! I just love the beauty and versatility of this stamp called Majestic Mountains.

There are endless possibilitis for it, including this masculine nature scene created as gift card holder.

This was colored in with my Prismacolor markers and the skyline was sponged with summer sun and pumpkin pie SU! inks. I added just a bit of sparkle to the crystal blue water with diamond stickles.

Now look---I transformed it into a peaceful winter scene....

I stamped the image in craft white, then embossed it with white ep. I then went over desired areas with white foam paint and covered it in dazzling diamond glitter. The photo corner cut from white sparkle paper by Darice completes this sparkly winter scene. Like this sketch? It's from the brilliant mind of Laurie Wilson and I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you used for inspiration, as I have.

For more sneak peeks, here is the list of all the CDS Designers--they are such talented gals!

Thank you for visiting me. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, I wish you a happy heart! :)

Blue Enamal Camping Mug- Giftcard Holder!

Hehe, this was fun! I actually made this last week and posted it on SCS, but I just think it's darn cute, so I'm sharing it here too! I found this mug pattern back in Dec and made them into holiday cocoa holders--here, I used the same pattern to create a blue and white speckled camping mug--you know the ones, right? My brother's birthday is coming up and he loves to hunt, fish, camp, etc...so this is perfect to hold his REI giftcard in! And it just tickled the heck outta me when I realized that the splatter/speckle stamp from Stampin' Up!'s *Itty Bitty Backgrounds* would be what I needed to achieve the look on the mug---CooL! So, if you want to get this fun mug pattern too, click HERE. Thanks for popping in!
