The holidays are all but upon us and so this month, we are featuring silver and gold projects using the festive November Ribbon Club Assortment! The ribbons in this assortment are beautiful! They shimmer, they sparkle and they will add all the shine to your holiday cards and projects this yearI especially love how they are perfect for Christmas, New Year's and even can be incorporated into a blue/silver/gold Hanukkah theme! ! And guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win the Silver and Gold Mix November Ribbon Club Assortment
I always like to try to use as many of the ribbons from the assortment in my project. In this case, I did use every single one of these gorgeous ribbons to decorate my golden pinecone wreath! I made this wreath by spray painting lots of pine cones I gathered on my nature walks with Kenzie (my 4 year old Beagle). Some I didn't paint and left them natural. After they were all arranged and hot glued into place onto the wreath form, I added all the pretty double bows, which I think finishes this sparkling holiday wreath beautifully! I hope you like it too!
Here's a close-up of how I layered the ribbons and added an 11mm Silver Glitter Stardust Heart Shaped Rhinestone to the center of each one. I think these sparkly ribbon bows make my wreath extra special!

Really Reasonable Ribbon October Blog Hop!

Hello friends and happy Sunday-funday! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
The holidays will soon be upon us and this month, we're getting a head start on our Christmas projects using the festive October Ribbon Club Assortment! The ribbons in this assortment are whimsical and fun! I especially love the Reindeer on Emerald Green Grosgrain Ribbon and the Christmas Lights on White Satin Ribbon, both brand new and delightful as can be! In fact, all the ribbons in the October Ribbon Club Assortment will be a bright and beautiful addition to your holiday crafts this season! And guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super sweet Christmas Assortment
For my project, I made some jumbo Christmas gift tags! These will be the perfect finishing touch for the specially wrapped presents I'll be giving this year! The ribbons really are the star of these tags and make them very festive! I hope everyone will love them as much as I do!
I first made bows with the wider, solid ribbons, then attached slighter smaller bows atop each using the 3/8" patterned ribbons. Next, I ran 2 strands of Natural Burlap String through a designer button, making  double-bow, then added to the centers of each ribbon bow. Finally, I hot glued a faux sprig behind each ribbon bow, then glued to the top of each of my handmade jumbo tags.
You can add "To: and From" sentiments to the tags or leave the blank. For an even more festive look, add stickers like I did. There are lots of great ways to get creative with handmade jumbo gift tags! I hope you like mine and maybe feel inspired to make a few of your own this holiday season! Ho! Ho! Ho! 🎅
And that's all for me!Thanks so much for stopping by! Your final stop on the hop is back to the REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON BLOG! Wishing you a very happy weekend and happy crafting!

Really Reasonable Ribbon November Blog Hop!

Hello and happy Tuesday! It's the 13th and that means it's time for the RRR November Blog Hop! If you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog feeling super inspired by her marvelous creation! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
This month, we are showcasing projects using the gorgeous November Ribbon Club Assortment! It sparkles, it shimmers and it's just perfect for your "all that glitters" creations! Guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this Holiday Shimmer Assortment!
I like to try to create a project that features as many of the ribbons from the assortment as possible. This time I made a magical Sugarplum Fairy with a shimmering ribbon skirt using all the ribbons! I've made one of these girls once before and she was a big hit. I loved the pretty pinks and purples in the November Ribbon Club Assortment, and it made me think of the Sugarplum Fairy from the Nutcracker. Just the colors and shimmery goodness of these yummy ribbons convinced me to make one more ribbon skirt girl. Only this time, she's a magical holiday fairy and she's here to wish you and a very sweet and sparkling Christmas season!
The bodice is covered with decadent 10x12mm Mixed Pink Tone Rose Buds and Silver Bead Berry Spray Clusters along the collar. Cascading down her skirt are Silver Snowflake Charms attached with Silver Metallic String.
I created one-of-a-kind "wings" for my sugarplum fairy with WOC Silver Spiral Stamens, 3 on each side and bent into an upsweeping wing fashion.
And that's all for me! I hope you like my sugarplum fairy girl and feel inspired to create something pretty with ribbons today! Your next stop on the hop is SHEILA! Have a great day--happy hopping and happy crafting!

Today kicks off a very special week-long Holiday Card Creations Blog Hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Stampendous! Both design teams are bringing spooky fun or holiday cheer into our projects during the week. Learn tips and techniques and be inspired! Today myself and Margie Higuchi will start it off with our festive card creations.
Mixed Media Spooktacular Card
This mixed media card came together easily with the Stampendous Sugar Skull Cling Stamps and Dies Set and Aperture 5-Jar Kit Embossing Powder. With the help of Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6 inch, it turned out to be a super cool effect!
Create a Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside background with Craft Foils from 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit and Adhesive Sheets 4 x6 inch. Randomly apply an Adhesive Sheet to dry embossed black cardstock (no need to cover entirely). Then randomly apply red and gold craft foils.

Add a piece of water-colored cardstock on to a 3D Foam Creative Sheet from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit. With the Sugar Skull Cling Stamps and Dies Set, die-cut skull, roses and banner. Stamp coordinating images to each die cut with black Versamark ink, sprinkle with Marcasite glitter embossing powder from the Aperture 5-Jar Kit Embossing Powder. Melt with a heating tool.
