Really Reasonable Ribbon October Blog Hop!

Hello friends and happy Sunday-funday! Linsey here and it's the 13th, so you know what that means...it's time for the RRR October Blog Hop! If you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog feeling super inspired by her marvelous creation! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
The holidays will soon be upon us and this month, we're getting a head start on our Christmas projects using the festive October Ribbon Club Assortment! The ribbons in this assortment are whimsical and fun! I especially love the Reindeer on Emerald Green Grosgrain Ribbon and the Christmas Lights on White Satin Ribbon, both brand new and delightful as can be! In fact, all the ribbons in the October Ribbon Club Assortment will be a bright and beautiful addition to your holiday crafts this season! And guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super sweet Christmas Assortment
For my project, I made some jumbo Christmas gift tags! These will be the perfect finishing touch for the specially wrapped presents I'll be giving this year! The ribbons really are the star of these tags and make them very festive! I hope everyone will love them as much as I do!
I first made bows with the wider, solid ribbons, then attached slighter smaller bows atop each using the 3/8" patterned ribbons. Next, I ran 2 strands of Natural Burlap String through a designer button, making  double-bow, then added to the centers of each ribbon bow. Finally, I hot glued a faux sprig behind each ribbon bow, then glued to the top of each of my handmade jumbo tags.
You can add "To: and From" sentiments to the tags or leave the blank. For an even more festive look, add stickers like I did. There are lots of great ways to get creative with handmade jumbo gift tags! I hope you like mine and maybe feel inspired to make a few of your own this holiday season! Ho! Ho! Ho! 🎅
And that's all for me!Thanks so much for stopping by! Your final stop on the hop is back to the REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON BLOG! Wishing you a very happy weekend and happy crafting!

A Frilly, Flowery Spring Tag & A Circle Challenge!

Happy Monday! I made a Spring tag for a new blog I found called Pause Dream Enjoy- 52 Tags! thanks to a new blogging buddy Elaine. She has a blog  full of wonderful creations, Expressions By Elaine--thanks so much Elaine! Pause Dream Enjoy is dedicated to TAG challenges, which = FUN! This week is Frills & Flowers (Challege #8, Week 8) and what better way to celebrate these lovely elements than with Spring! Oh gosh, I can't wait for the warmer days to come--I can feel em, they're right around that ice covered corner! I'm seriously counting down the days til daylight savings time begins again! Ok, here's my tag!
All cuts are from Once Upon A Princess Cricut cartridge (tag, chick and paper roses)
"Birthday Wishes" from MCT Teeny Tag Greetings best sentiment set ever in my humble opinion
tag base cuttled with Stylized Flowers embossing folder, chick with Swiss Dots, aqua paper DCWV, other: Provo Craft Neutrals paper palette collage pad, sponging Summer Sun SU!, small/lrg oval punches SU!, diamond stickles, prima flowers, teal bling Creative Impressions, velvet, grosgrain ribbon and lace trim all from Joann's
I also made a card for this week's Paper Sundaes challenge #109- Circles! I found this blog a weeks ago and have been hooked on their challenges ever since! I used my current favorite stamp set, MCT's Hello Spring and Fancy Frame stamp and die set, as well as Teeny Tag Greetings for the sentiment on the tag.

Ok, Sunday since my last post...really? I was doing so well too! I have found some time to create this week though lol! These gift tags below will come in very handy for Christmas and were so very simple to make with this delightful little set from Clear Dollar Stamps, Gift Labels! This set comes with everything you need to create a variety of fun and festive gift labels and tags! I used the 1", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch as well as the scallop circle punch from Stampin Up! for mine, but there are so many more possibilities! I colored the images with Copic Ciao markers and the gold trim from Gina K. Designs.

Also, a fun holiday card using the adorable and fun set, Just Chillin'. I went a little crazy at the top with my Cropadile, I know lol. I added some of my favorite stuff for snow, DecoArt white foam paint and sprinkled chunky white glitter over it for some sparkle.

Thank you so very much for stoppin by my blog. I'm off to see what all my crafty friends will inpsire and wow me with tonight!! :D

Jumbo Ornament Gift Tags

Hi there, I made some fun ornament shaped gift tags with this absolutely adorable new set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Just Chillin'. I stamped the snowflakes from this set for the backgrounds and used up some ivory felt scraps to create the snowy hill bases. I added a bit of diamond stickles to the felt for some sparkle. The 1 3/8" circle punch and scallop circle punch from SU! were used for the centers with images. Cropadiled the eyelets at the top and tied silver string through to finish. Simple and fun :)

Thanks for stoppin' by! Have a wonderful and creative day!
