Hello friends and happy Friday! Linsey here and happy to be back! It's the 13th and that means it's time for the RRR September Blog Hop! If you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog feeling super inspired by her marvelous creation! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
Spring is fast approaching and this month, we are showcasing projects featuring the spooktaclur September Ribbon Club Assortment! And guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super fun September Ribbon Club Assortment!
I always try to showcase as many as the ribbons from the assortment as I can and this time, I made a cute little Halloween banner. It's very simple with double-layered bows attached between each journaling card.
I love the cute patterned grosgrain ribbons in this assortment! They are SO MUCH FUN! And they balance the pretty, more sophisticated black and white striped and dotted ribbons really nicely!
And for a bit of Halloween sparkle, I added a Silver Glitter Stardust Heart Shaped Rhinestone to the center of each double bow.
And that's all for me!Thanks so much for stopping by! Your final stop on the hop is back to the REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON BLOG! Wishing you a very happy weekend and happy crafting!

Holiday Card Creations with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® & Stampendous!-Day 1

Hello and happy Monday! Today kicks off a very special week-long Holiday Card Creations Blog Hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Stampendous! Both design teams are bringing spooky fun or holiday cheer into our projects during the week. Learn tips and techniques and be inspired! Today myself and Margie Higuchi will start it off with our festive card creations.
Mixed Media Spooktacular Card
This mixed media card came together easily with the Stampendous Sugar Skull Cling Stamps and Dies Set and Aperture 5-Jar Kit Embossing Powder. With the help of Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6 inch, it turned out to be a super cool effect!
Create a Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside background with Craft Foils from 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit and Adhesive Sheets 4 x6 inch. Randomly apply an Adhesive Sheet to dry embossed black cardstock (no need to cover entirely). Then randomly apply red and gold craft foils.

Add a piece of water-colored cardstock on to a 3D Foam Creative Sheet from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit. With the Sugar Skull Cling Stamps and Dies Set, die-cut skull, roses and banner. Stamp coordinating images to each die cut with black Versamark ink, sprinkle with Marcasite glitter embossing powder from the Aperture 5-Jar Kit Embossing Powder. Melt with a heating tool. Add the dimensional die cuts to the vellum card panel. Assemble the card using E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser and finish with sequins added using Adhesive Dots Medium.

Really Reasonable Ribbon September Blog Hop!

Hello there, friends! It's time for the RRR September Blog Hop and if you're already hopping, then you should be arriving to me from KATHY'S amazing blog! If not, head over to the RRR Blog to start the hop!
This month, we are showcasing projects using the fantastic September Ribbon Club Assortment! This is a spooktacular mix of bright colors and festive patterns and it's just perfect for all your upcoming Halloween (and more) creations! Guess what? You could win it! Just comment on each of the blogs along the hop including the RRR blog for your chance to win this super fun ribbon assortment!
With Halloween right around the corner, I decided to make a super cute pinwheel wreath for my front door! I made one over the summer also and it was a hit, so I took the advice of a good friend and made another with a Halloween theme for our September blog hop!
I used a small wire wreath frame for this project so I needed approximately 24 4"x4" square pieces of patterned paper (double-sided is best) with a Halloween theme. To form mini pinwheel, fold square in half to make a triangle, unfold, then repeat on opposite side. Cut along folds to 1/2" from center. Fold every other corner to center and adhere with dot of glue. Punch 1/2" circles from scrap paper and adhere to center of pinwheels, then add a sequin to the center of each circle.
I used all of the ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment on my wreath. I cut 2 strips each of all the wider ribbons, then 4 strips each of all the narrow ribbons. Tie all into bows, then layer narrow ribbons on top of wider ribbons and add festive sticker to center of each double bow.
Arrange and adhere all bows to wreath.
So much cuteness and so much fun! 😍
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you like my project and feel inspired to create something pretty with ribbons today! Your next stop on the blog hop is SHEILA! Have a great day--happy hopping and happy crafting!

She's Magic

Happy Friday the 13th peeps! I was so excited when I saw the Sassy Studio Designs fabulous freebie Friday digi today, she's magic! And their awesome challenge is Leather and Lace, so in the spirit of this SUPER-sticious day and SSD's super fabulous freebie, here's what I made!
All tag cuts from Happy Hauntings cartridge, such fun!
Her name is Queen Gorgo (inspired from the movie 300) and Sassy Studio Designs still has her available for free HERE--but hurry!

Here is my leather n lace. Those mini leather tags were sorta tan so I rubbed hues of dark blue and purple metallic rub-on medium until I got a look that was satisfying. The lace is recycled  lace scrap trimming from a dress I wore to a wedding when I was 10...my Mom sent it to me along in a box full of childhood memories--this dress wasn't gonna be treasured in any special way, so I decided to scrap it! :)

I will be entering my Bewitching Tag into the following challenges:

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a bewitiching and magicial weekend!

My Creative Time Design Team Call

Leapin lizards!! I am so excited about Emma's very first ever design team call for My Creative Time!  I think that Emma is truly one of the BEST artists in the industry and anyone who knows her will most likely agree.  That's why I simply could not resist entering a project for her DT call.  Being a part of her team would undoubtedly be a most awesome creative adventure and I want in on it, so this is my Haunted Cemetary project which may serve as my dining room table centerpiece this year.  I used my Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge for the entire 3-D project, starting with the platter at 10" as my base, then cut several of the designs from this cartridge to create my spooky cemetary scene.  The tombstones are 3 dimensional boxes that allow for small treats to go inside too! Since I do not yet own any of Emma's fabulous stamp sets, I opted to not use any stamps, but rather get my creative groove on with my Cricut alone. I just had a blast making this project, so whether or not I am considered for a spot, I am so thankful for Emma sharing her talents with the world and inspiring so many!
I have already seen countless entries that are so super inspiring, I don't know how Emma is going to narrow it down to only a few new DT members.  But no matter whom she chooses, it will definitely be a FABulous team and I can't wait to see who makes the cut!  Best of luck to all who enter and if you are quick, you still have time to enter too--Deadline is Tonight at midnight.  Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful weekend friends!

Candy Corn Cards

Hellooooooooo there my wonderfully crafty buddies!!! My goodness, Ive been away for far too long. I am truly amazed that I still have 108 followers, despite my lack of posting in the recent weeks. It is profoundly humbling and I'm so thankful for this most awesome community of stampers, scrapbookers and crafters--in essence, artists, whom I adore so much. You make me excited and inspired to create and it brings true joy to my life. THANK YOU.
Now for the first cards I've posted in a long time....Candy Corn cards lol! Aren't they just so silly and fun though haha.
I just made this simple pattern (measures, 4 3/4" L, 3 7/8" W at the base) shaped like a candy corn. One a verysturdy white cardstock, I then sponged summer sun through the middle portion of the card. Next, I sponged pumpkin pie and another lighter orange over the base, blending it into the yellow. I went a little blend-crazy on the one with a bite out of it, hehe (the other one is obviously more balanced). The tops are just left white. I was just experimenting with the bite (used the SU scalloped circle punch) and idk if I like it or not. I think I like the tag on the un-nibbled one better too--but there are so many cute ways to variate from this and I had fun playing around with them. The stamped sentiments are from Unity Stamp Co. This pattern is simple to draw, then trace ontowhite cardstock, but if anyone happens to want my pattern, I'm happy to email it to ya, just leave me your email addy in a comment if you're interested. Thank you so much for visiting me, my friends--have a wonderful weekend :D

Witch's Boot

Hi there! I hope you are having a great day! As I was flipping thru the Vicotorian Trading catalog, I came across an adorable witch's boot pincushion and thought, "hey, that would make a cute card"! So, this is what I came up with. This boot measures 5 1/2" wide x 5" tall and is super easy to make. I'm going make the pattern available here, for anyone interested--only, I'm not certain that it will work. Click on the pattern to enlarge, then right click and scroll to print. If you are not able to get it, just email me and I'll be happy to send it to you via email attachment.

Thanks so much for visiting me today. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go see what all you creative people have been up to! Hugs and happy crafting!

Autumn Treats Preview-Day 1

Only a crafter would understand the desire to start creating Autumn and Halloween projects in early August! I made this for day 1 of Clear Artistic Stamps sneak peek preview of the Autumn Treats stamp set. I will have more samples on my blog and links to the design teams sneak peeks thru-out this week until the big release day on August 14th!
This has got to be the easiest treat bag ever to make! It is super simple, here's the skinny:
  1. Autumn Treats Stamps by Clear Artistic Stamps
  2. 1 piece of 4 x 11" card stock, scored at 5 1/4" AND 5 3/4"
  3. white square for image and coordinating piece of cardstock to layer. (my square is about 2 1/2" x 3" before the frame.)
  4. small and large oval punch (optional)
  5. Crop-a-dile and large eyelets
  6. Ribbon

This treat bag works perfectly for a yummy sweet treat OR how about filling a little bag of fun Autumn/Halloween embellishments and give to a fellow crafting pal! FUN!
